Attorney Montilla focuses on Business and Corporate Law, Real Estate, and Civil Litigation.
Born in The Bronx, New York and has made Central Florida his home for over 30 years where he graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Bachelors in Business Administration before embarking on his law school journey.
Before becoming a lawyer, Attorney Montilla was active in the Central Florida community which led him to co-found One Brick Orlando, a 501(c)(3) with over 700 volunteers serving the Central Florida Community. Thereafter, he went on to sit as Diversity Chairman of Ad 2 Orlando initiating the yearly “Diversity Dialogue” which aims to highlight the value in collaborative thinking and acceptance of not only different thinking but different perspective and different backgrounds.
Attorney Montilla trained under Attorneys both in Michigan and in Florida where he has participated in programs aimed at representing indigent clients in civil and criminal matters. His training has allowed him to gain the necessary skill set to identify issues that may not be evident to the client when they first consult with him. His keen eye and legal perspective allow him to stand out among his colleagues as an innovative strategist in developing solutions to complex issues.
When Attorney Montilla is not out in the community or practicing law he can be found on the golf course playing a round of golf or playing softball with a team he manages in Winter Park. He is married and has a bloodhound puppy who goes by the name Moses.
